011900 - Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Law or Criminology, UCD Sutherland School of Law (Permanent)

Applications are invited for a Permanent post of a Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Law or Criminology within UCD Sutherland School of Law.

It is recognised for the quality of its research, its degree programmes and its wider impact in Ireland and internationally. A European Law School in Ireland with an international outlook, the School's distinctive mission is to support and lead on the transformative potential of law for contemporary societies.

The School wishes to appoint a Lecturer/Assistant Professor who will be required to engage in research, teaching and academic administration within the UCD Sutherland School of Law. This will include the delivery and development of modules at undergraduate and graduate levels, the supervision of graduate students and the generation of publications in leading international peer reviewed journals and with leading academic presses in line with the academic mission of the School. The appointee will report to the Dean of Law.

The School would welcome applications from candidates in any field of expertise in law or criminology.

95 Lecturer/Asst Professor Above The Bar Salary Scale: €53,773- €84,544 per annum.


95 Lecturer/Asst Professor Below The Bar Salary Scale: €34,065- €59,788 per annum.

Appointment will be made on the appropriate scale and point on the scale in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines.
