The College of Science currently comprises seven Schools: Chemistry, Computer Science, Engineering, Geography, Life Sciences, Mathematics & Physics, and Pharmacy, as well as the National Centre for Food Manufacturing and the Lincoln Institute for Agri-Food Technology. The College, which is driving world-leading developments in autonomous systems, power and energy, biosciences, and climate change impacts, is going through a period of rapid development and change and is looking for dedicated, capable and well-motivated people to be part of this journey.
The College's Science Foundation Year aims to prepare students for degree-level study, by equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed to be successful in science, healthcare, or engineering related subjects. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Administrator/PA to oversee the administrative support within the Foundation Studies Centre, and to provide PA support to the Director of Foundation Year Studies.
The successful candidate will need to work as part of a team, prioritise workloads, and have the ability to cope in a very dynamic and challenging environment with tight internal deadlines. Experience of working in Higher Education would be an advantage.
