Applications are invited for the post of Kitchen Porter in the Catering Department at Royal Holloway University of London. This is an exciting opportunity to join our busy and fun Catering Team, which is responsible for the delivery of a range of food services across our stunning campus to enhance the student, staff and visitor experience.

As a Kitchen Porter at Royal Holloway, you will be a key member of the team, assisting with the effective daily delivery and service of food. Some of your daily tasks will include:

  • Carrying out all aspects of cleaning 
  • Assist in the preparation of vegetables as required
  • Collect and distribute stores and prepare food and beverages 
  • Ensure the segregation and disposal of waste 
  • Maintain and keep tidy the refuse area

You will be an active hands-on person with good organisational skills. You will also show a willingness to learn new skills and be an active team player.
