Position Description

The Harvard School of Dental Medicine (HSDM) is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Director of Biomaterials, Part time. This appointment comes with the academic rank of Instructor, Assistant Professor or Associate Professor, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The vision is to expand the current knowledge on Regenerative dentistry by aiming to replace or restore oral tissues through the incorporation of cellular or acellular biomaterials. The key focus of this position is to identify clinical needs and related solutions through biomaterials approach. Applicants will be expected to have expertise in the field of biomaterials, be able to teach dental students and engage in collaborative research projects with the HSDM community.

Basic Qualifications

Candidates must possess a MMSc, DMSc, or Ph.D degree or equivalent.
