Overview

The School of Arts and Humanities is seeking to appoint an experienced and innovative clinical psychology professional and academic leader.

The position offers a highly motivated and passionate candidate an excellent opportunity to lead the clinical psychology program, contribute to innovative teaching in both postgraduate and undergraduate psychology, and enhance the School’s scholarship and/or research profile and culture. The position is offered as either Teaching and Research or Teaching Focused and the level of appointment will be appropriate to teaching and research achievement and outcomes.

The successful applicant will be expected to have:

  • a PhD in a relevant discipline area;
  •  evidence of eligibility for registration with an Area of Practice Endorsement in Clinical Psychology with the Psychology Board of Australia;
  • demonstrated evidence of an excellent record in research-led teaching and unit and/or course coordination; and
  • demonstrated leadership as a discipline expert in research, research supervision, and publication and/or scholarly learning and teaching.

You will also demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the University’s values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry and Personal Excellence.

Benefits & Remuneration

This full time, ongoing position attracts remuneration of $120,961 to $139,228 (ALEVC) OR $145,317 to $159,926 (ALEVD) p.a. plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
