The Role

  • Fixed Term (until December 2021), Full Time
  • $85,632 to $93,613 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
  • Wangaratta

You will be responsible for growing engagement, enrolments and revenue through the development, coordination and evaluation of school and community outreach events and activities in North East Victoria.

You will play a key part in building aspirations and providing information regarding the benefits of university education and providing support information such as courses and scholarships available.

To be successful you will have:

  • A degree or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through any other combination of education, training and/or experience.
  • Experience in the development and delivery of educational programs, community development and/or industry engagement activities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with well-developed presentation and social media skills.

The Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research, Development and Industry) encompasses the Research Office, the Office of Global Engagement and Partnerships, the Office of Indigenous Affairs, the four University Research Centres plus a number of strategic agendas including ethics and compliance, commercialisation of research, the AgriPark and contribution to the University Strategy. The DVC RDI, in collaboration with the Pro Vice-Chancellor Global Engagement (Research and Partnership), stewards the development of collaborative connections between CSU and industry, end-users and stakeholders to strengthen and expand the research agenda. Closer strategic partnerships are sought based on the internationally competitive nature and relevance of CSU research and the opportunity to provide Higher Degree by Research students with a more comprehensive training.

The Office of the Pro-Vice Chancellor (PVC) Global Engagement provides a range of services and expertise to support the University in the development and management of domestic and international programs and linkages. The Office also oversees liaison with the national and international VET sector to facilitate, support and encourage students to transition from College to University.
