Reporting to the Academic Dean, the Head of Discipline (HoD) leads academic staff associated with the Finance and Operations Management disciplines, fostering a culture of staff collaboration to design and deliver contemporary, industry-relevant and theoretically informed curricula.  The HoD supports and ensures academic staff engage in scholarly and research activities and works with the Senior Academic Leadership Team to optimize the learning experience for students and the online and operational environment that supports their success.

This rare opportunity to build and develop your academic leadership experience will suit academics with existing leadership skills and those with recognised leadership attributes seeking a management and administrative challenge.  With a record of research in one or more of disciplines including Marketing; HRM; Management; Entrepreneurship; Finance; Logistics; and Tourism, you bring strong knowledge of higher education pedagogical principles and teaching experience, ideally with adult learners and post-graduate students.  A PhD level qualification in business or business-related discipline or otherwise relevant qualifications and experience, supports your application.
