The Department of Operations Research and Financial Engineering (ORFE) at Princeton University invites applications for three tenure-track faculty appointments at the Assistant Professor level starting September 1, 2020. The search is open to all general areas of interest of the department, including Optimization, Statistics & Machine Learning, and Probability, and their applications to, among others, operations research, data science, economics and finance, energy and the environment, control and robotics, healthcare management, physical and biological sciences, networks, and transportation. A PhD in a related field is required.

To be successful, the candidate must have a strong commitment to excellence in research and in teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. The ORFE department is part of the School of Engineering and Applied Science and involved in activities with the Center for Statistics and Machine Learning, the Bendheim Center for Finance, the Program in Applied and Computational Mathematics, and the Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment.
