The Dean (People and Resources) will drive innovation within the College to ensure that the research and educational objectives of the College are accomplished. The Dean will provide strategic leadership and management to the College to help the College reach the University’s bold vision of being internationally recognised as a world leader in research, an innovator in contemporary education and the source of Australia’s most enterprising graduates.

The successful individual will bring demonstrated leadership in resourcing and people development. In addition, individuals must have evidence of a track record of operational leadership, including the planning and allocation of resources to create opportunities for research, education and engagement across all of the disciplines within the College of Medicine and Public Health. The successful candidate will be effective in a collegiate environment through developing and achieving shared goals and objectives, designing a future built on evidence and informed by vision and ambition.
