The engineering workplace of the future will be different from that of the past, and that future will require a broader range of people for success. The SEIT community is committed to changing the culture of engineering education by developing a more well-rounded engineer equipped with the emotional intelligence to perform in the 21st century. Creation of a new type of learning environment requires a different range of staff that can support deep technical learning while helping to develop the whole engineer. We seek out committed educators and researchers that have the knowledge, teaching skills, and empathy to strengthen that environment.
