Applications are invited for the roles of BioDesign QTEC Enterprise Fellow at the Quantum Technology Enterprise Centre (QTEC) at The University of Bristol.

Bristol BioDesign Institute is partnering with the world-leading Quantum Technology Enterprise Centre (QTEC) to offer two 12-month BioDesign Innovation Fellowships  (beginning on the 2nd of December 2019). These are aimed at supporting the development and transition of lab-based biodesign related technology into start-ups and spin-outs. The programme is strongly geared towards implementing; building and developing a business with a view to exiting the programme with an investable business proposition or early stage company.

As a BioDesign QTEC Enterprise Fellow, you will be part of a one-year cohort-based programme incorporating taught courses covering aspects of systems thinking and design, enterprise and entrepreneurship. As a Fellow your business will be based upon a demonstrated technology you have the right to commercialise. Fellows receive extensive coaching and mentorship throughout the programme as well as desk space, a travel and consumables budget and many opportunities to network and pitch to potential investors.
