Senior Teaching Fellow, Construction Management and Quantity Surveying
About the position
This is an outstanding opportunity for a suitably qualified person to join the Faculty of Society & Design at an exciting time of growth and development.
The emphasis of the position is to deliver and undertake teaching and research within the areas of construction management, the legal aspects of construction and/or project delivery systems. In addition, experience in construction technology, building measurement/quantity surveying will be highly regarded.
About the person:
The successful applicant will hold a Master’s degree in a relevant field and/or have extensive relevant industry experience. It is desirable that the applicant is a member of a relevant professional body such as the RICS or Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors or be eligible for such membership.
As a member of the academic staff team, the successful applicant will be responsible for contributing to teaching, research and service in the Faculty and University at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. The successful applicant will also engage in professional and industry liaison and provide student support within the Faculty.
