Job description

Are you an experienced Project Manager? Have you supported externally funded projects for the EU, public or private sector?

The City University Initiative in the Centre for Trust Peace and Social Relations has secured external funding worth over GBP 1.5m which has supported the opening up of two practical social innovation hubs that enable us to engage with communities in a more meaningful way. These include Fab Lab Coventry and the Migration Friendly Cities, now well established and delivering a wide range of funded projects from EU Horizon 2020, European Social and Investment Fund, EIT Raw materials and others. All of these projects vary in content,partners and individuals engaged but all are working to deliver successful models for building resilient cities and communities.

We are looking for highly experienced project manager to help us achieve the maximum benefit for our funders, partners and citizens that we work with.The City University Initiative has a vibrant and skilled team delivering training and research within communities locally and internationally. The Project Manager will work closely with this team, supporting them to deliver activity successfully and to a high quality.

The post holder should be educated to degree level or equivalent and Prince 2 accredited or equivalent. A working knowledge of the higher education sector and extensive knowledge of research project management is essential.
