Library Services are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to join the Arts and Social Sciences Academic Engagement team. The post-holder will join the University at a very exciting time, with plans for a new University Library and a transformative campus planned for Temple Quarter.

The post-holder will be responsible for the planning and delivery of academic engagement and subject library support for the School of Education and the School of Policy Studies.  

Responsibilities will include liaison and consultation with academics and students, strategic collection development, planning and delivering information skills teaching and support (both online and face to face), managing subject enquiries and participating in projects as part of the Academic Engagement team. 

The post-holder will demonstrate personal commitment to the continuous improvement of student experience and to enhancing the University’s support for education and research excellence.

The successful candidate will have a degree and relevant postgraduate qualification in information management or substantial equivalent experience in a similar role. Relevant subject knowledge is desirable.

This post is part-time working 21 hours per week (0.6FTE).
