The Role

The role of Future Students Partnerships Assistant sits within the Division of External Relations they are responsible for the following areas Global Partnerships, Global Profile & Reputation and Future Student Recruitment.

The Future Student Recruitment pillar has been established to strengthen marketing efforts, ensuring UNSW is the premier destination in the state for local students and the premier destination in the country for internationals.

The Future Students Partnerships Assistant will assist in maintaining key relationships with schools, sponsors, and agents and providing top level customer service to these partners and prospective students and supporting events, projects and outreach activities in line with the Future Students Strategy. The role is also responsible for the administration of the sponsored student application process and maintaining a high level of customer service and client relationship management with UNSW sponsors.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification and relevant experience or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through any combination of education, training or experience.
  • Student recruitment or university experience is highly desirable but not essential.
  • Experience in an administrative role, ideally in a large organisation with multiple divisions and functions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with all levels of students, staff and external stakeholders
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to engage people of all ages, including those from diverse backgrounds and cultures
  • Demonstrated ability to work flexibly and productively as an effective team member to ensure deadlines are met
  • Outstanding organisational skills with proven ability to deal with multiple tasks and establish priorities
  • Knowledge of health and safety responsibilities and commitment to attending relevant health and safety training.
