Department of International Business & Economics
Location: Greenwich
Salary: £23,334 to £26,243 plus £4715 London weighting per annum
Contract Type: Permanent
Closing Date: Monday 27 May 2019
Interview Date: To be confirmed
The Faculty of Business at the University of Greenwich is seeking to recruit a Departmental Programme Co-ordinator to support our strategically important programme, MBA/MA International Business.
The post holder will be responsible for the co-ordination and administration of MBA/MA International Business in the department of International Business and Economics.
The role combines the need for an organised approach, attention to detail, and the ability to develop good relationships with University students and staff.
The MBA/MA IB is a very large and strategically important programme, with around 300 students recruited in September 2018 and nearly 200 students in January 2019 and is expected to recruit similar numbers in 2019/20 with a plan for sustainable growth thereafter.
Most of these students are international students and studying in the UK for the first time and the post holder will need to be willing to support the programme leader and the wider programme team to enable the students to have a positive experience whilst at the university.
The Faculty of Business is one of four faculties at the University of Greenwich and provides a wide range or postgraduate and undergraduate programmes. The Faculty of Business is located on the Greenwich Maritime Campus, a UNESCO world heritage site. We seek to recruit a colleague willing to work with a diverse group of students and academic staff.
For informal discussion about the post please contact the Head of Department, Professor Denise Hawkes, d.hawkes@gre.ac.uk
We aim to be an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all sections of the community.
