Job description

The Centre for Arts, Memory and Communities is an exciting new initiative in multidisciplinary research in the arts and humanities. The post holder will play a full part in the development of the new Centre, providing strategic direction, academic leadership and management of research (especially practice research), in the fields of fine art, photography and design within the University and the Centre for Arts, Memory and Communities, and developing the academic and commercial potential within the Centre for Arts, Memory and Communities, whilst delivering excellence with impact in line with our Corporate Strategy.

The post holder should have an international reputation in an area of Arts Practice Research and the ability to attract world-class academics and arts practitioners to collaborate within their field of Research. The post holder should have experience of doctoral supervision and of leading income generating bids and initiatives.
