St. Vincent’s Hospital is strongly affiliated with the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute.

An opportunity has arisen for a Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine to join UNSW and provide leadership and advance research excellence and research training across the UNSW Campus and its affiliated medical research institutes (The George Institute and the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute). The joint appointment will be made with St Vincent’s Hospital one of UNSW’s affiliated research-active teaching hospital.

The successful candidate will bring a distinguished record of achievements in cardiovascular research. He or she will have proven ability to provide and implement a vision that will foster excellence in research, teaching, and engagement within the broader Faculty and its research and health partners.
