The Tyndall Centre has its Headquarters at UEA and is an active and expanding partnership between UEA and the Universities that deliver academically excellent interdisciplinary research in support of responses to climate change.  The Director has overall responsibility for the vision, strategy and operations of the Tyndall Centre partnership and will set the research agenda for interdisciplinary and academically excellent research that informs global, EU and national policy making. He or she will also be appointed as a full-time cross-faculty Chair or Reader in Climate Change Research and Policy at the University of East Anglia. 

You must have a PhD or equivalent experience, have significant experience in or clear potential to lead a significant research group in an interdisciplinary environment, closely aligned with the collaborative ethos of the Tyndall Centre, and in engaging effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, as well as a track record of high-quality publications and major fundraising.
