The Department of Computer & Information Sciences at Northumbria University has research strengths in HCI, Social Computing, Cyber Security and Networked Systems, Artificial Intelligence and Visual Computing, Information Management and Data Analytics. Our new state-of-the-art £7m Computer and Information Sciences building, at the heart of our city centre campus in Newcastle upon Tyne, provides a stunning learning and teaching environment for students and staff. We are currently seeking to appoint at Lecturer/Senior Lecturer level and are particularly interested in high-quality applications from candidates who will either align with our areas of existing strength, or support us in growing capacity in the areas including Games, Robotics, or Digital Forensics. However, high quality candidates in any area of expertise within the scope of the Department are welcome to apply. 
 
You must hold a relevant first degree and it is desirable that you should be either qualified, or soon to be qualified, to Doctoral level in a relevant discipline and have a strong publications record commensurate with your experience. Proven ability to deliver high quality teaching is also essential. Membership (or eligibility for membership) of a relevant professional body is desirable.
