The University of Queensland (UQ) is about to significantly invest in a best practice digital Customer Experience transformation program. The aim of the program is to enhance the University's position, relationships and reputation with its various stakeholder groups through high quality marketing and communication strategies. UQ is looking to recruit a number of newly created key roles to develop our bench-strength in customer experience, digital marketing and program delivery.

The CX Program is a joint partnership with Information Technology Services (ITS) and Office of Marketing and Communication (OMC) and aims to deliver a host of benefits to UQ through the provision of strategy, performance measures, technology platforms, policies and processes to enable an enterprise wide, coordinated personalised engagement experience for all of UQ’s key stakeholder groups.

The role

This is a key role reporting to the Head of Customer Experience and Digital. The purpose of this position is to support delivering a ‘One UQ’ approach to integrated planning and performance measurement across The University of Queensland for the marketing, customer experience and digital functions. This role will also support the delivery of managing processes to operationalise The University of Queensland’s integrated marketing plan, working closely with OMC, faculties and other departments.

The person

We are looking to hear from people with a strong knowledge and understanding of key marketing principles especially digital marketing.

Other desired skills and experience include:

  • Qualifications and training equivalent to an undergraduate degree in business, marketing, communications or related field; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
  • Experience in the development and implementation of cross functional plans in a large to medium sized organisation.
  • Ability to prepare and monitor budgets, analyse financial reports, and develop and apply policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrated experience in the use of marketing resource management and/or project management tools e.g. Confluence, Jira, Asana, Wrike etc.

Remuneration

This is a full-time, continuing appointment at HEW Level 9. The total remuneration package, including employer superannuation contributions of up to 17%, will be in the range of $113,095.08 - $119,678.38 p.a.The University of Queensland offers competitive options including salary sacrificing, on campus childcare, leave packaging and discounted private health insurance, as well as many other benefits. This position is based at UQ’s leafy Long Pocket site, which has free parking and regular, direct, connections to both the UQ St Lucia campus and the Brisbane CBD.
