About the opportunity 

The Manager, Curriculum and Quality within the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences is responsible for leading the Faculty’s load planning, curriculum management and quality assurance needs, providing high-level academic program planning advice, analysis and reporting to the Faculty Leadership Group. 

The Manager, Curriculum and Quality is responsible for overseeing the administration and compilation of academic content and materials prepared by academic staff for programs of study, including documentation required for the complex curriculum academic approval process, and maintenance of curriculum and degree program information in university systems and publications. The role provides sophisticated reporting and analysis on curriculum matters, timetabling optimisation and complex admission advice for the Faculty and oversees the coordination and reporting for TEQSA and accreditation reviews.

The Manager, Curriculum and Quality utilises their high level of theoretical and applied knowledge to provide high level support and advice to Associate Deans and works with School Managers and relevant academic staff to drive the integration and quality review of curriculum matters to successful completion on behalf of the Faculty. 

The role brings a multi-perspective understanding to the development and implementation of process change requirements to ensure adherence within the university policy and governance structure, University and Faculty objectives and contributes to innovation in education. The Manager, Curriculum and Quality will lead a small team and is responsible for the collaboration, effective communication and stakeholder engagement with staff managing faculty or university projects, supporting adaptive change and leading a strategic response to market demands across the higher education sector.

  • post graduate qualifications with extensive work experience in tertiary education environment
