The School of Business IT and Logistics is the largest provider of Business IT and Supply Chain Management programs in Australia. It offers undergraduate business degrees in Information Systems and Logistics/Supply Chain Management, and postgraduate degrees in Business IT, Information Management, Supply Chain and Logistics Management.

As part of industry placement and research programs, the School has close partnership with industry and professional associations. You will undertake a range of activities within the School to support its global expansion including study tours and, student and staff exchanges with partner institutions overseas.

The Role

The Lecturer – Early Career Development Fellow in Business Information Systems will contribute to the teaching and research the School, in disciplines related to their field of expertise and more specifically, will be responsible for carrying out teaching activities within undergraduate, and Masters programs and for maintaining and advancing their scholarly, research and/or professional capabilities.

This position will actively promote the program by establishing and maintaining, links and partnerships with academic, industry and professional communities and may be responsible for course coordination.

About You

You will provide evidence of casual teaching for an Australian University within the past three years without being employed on a continuing basis at an Australian University.

You will have demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver programs at undergraduate and post-graduate levels, including online delivery, and the ability to produce high quality curriculum or program materials.

Your emerging track record and recognition for quality research outputs that supply to existing Discipline and School research areas, will be highly desirable.

In addition, you will work closely to build effective networks with colleagues and generate alternative funding projects through effective liaison.

Mandatory: PhD or equivalent in relevant fields.

You will provide evidence of casual teaching for an Australian University within the past three years and have not been employed on a continuing basis at an Australian University.
