The Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor in Strategy is expected to make an outstanding contribution to the School of Management enhancing leadership capability in teaching, research and professional activities. Two positions are available within the Strategy discipline with a specific focus on expertise in Strategy and Entrepreneurship and/or Strategy and Professional Services Management.

These positions contribute to the development and teaching of high-quality undergraduate, postgraduate (including MBA), online courses and executive education offerings both in their own area of expertise and in the broader domain of the Management field. A significant contribution to high quality research, securing research funding, and supervision of research students is also expected.

Skills and Experience

The Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor in Strategy and Entrepreneurship provides an exciting opportunity to work adjacent to, and in collaboration with the University’s Centre for Business Growth and Innovation and Collaboration Centre. The appointee will lead programs and offerings in innovation, entrepreneurship and growth, including Honours, MBA and executive education.

The Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor in Strategy and Professional Services Management will lead programs and offerings in management disciplines with specific expertise and links to professional services management including Honours, MBA and executive education.

Appointees for both roles must demonstrate extensive research, program development and teaching experience with discipline expertise in Strategic Management, together with a specific focus in Professional Services Management and/or Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Our strong connections to industry keep our programs relevant, recognised and respected.

Successful candidates will need to demonstrate experience working collaboratively with business, industry, government and the professions to support research and teaching outcomes.

Appointments will be offered at Level C or D dependent on qualifications and experience as referenced in the position description.
