Under the direction of the University’s new Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Global Partnerships), the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Engagement) will provide leadership to support and advance the University’s engagement strategies and provide oversight to our engagement infrastructure and projects. With the communication skills to inspire others to partner in the ambitions and aspirations of UWA, s/he will play an instrumental role in developing, and implementing, UWA’s International strategy; Industry, Enterprise and Development strategy; Cultural strategy; and Development and Alumni engagement activity.

The Pro Vice-Chancellor (Engagement) will sit at the heart of the University’s ability to identify and develop new opportunities for greater interaction with industry, business, government, and its broader local and international stakeholder communities. Dynamic, self-motivated candidates will demonstrate the leadership ability to engage academic colleagues, take forward external partnerships and bring experience of driving sustainable growth in similar strategic and operational contexts.
