Charles Darwin University's (CDU) has been named by Times Higher Education in an elite group of 20 universities worldwide (and one of only 3 Australian universities) that have been labelled as 'rising stars'. 

CDU International (CDU-I) provides leadership and strategic advice to support management and executive level decision making in relation to international engagement and works closely with faculty and key university administrative units and external stakeholders. The Office is responsible to the Deputy Vice Chancellor for strategic leadership, development and management of the University's international goals and international activities, including international marketing and promotions, recruitment and admission of international students, international student support, legislative compliance, international partnerships, and relationships with government departments and other agencies.

As Marketing Communications Coordinator, your primary purpose will be to manage CDU International's marketing and communications initiatives by developing and implementing an integrated marketing communications plan focused on the international student recruitment journey. Supporting international operations, marketing and recruitment you will manage all international marketing and communication touchpoints including online channels, digital and printed collateral in collaboration with colleagues within CDU International and across the University along with overseeing the Marketing Communications Officer.

Your extensive experience in developing and delivering strategic and innovative marketing strategies at a leadership level, along with your ability to manage, review, develop and consistently implement CDU International's promotional collateral harnessing digital platforms will be integral to your success. You will be self-motivated, innovative and capable of working under pressure to meet deadlines and negotiate with stakeholders to develop a content calendar and oversee the production of all content requirements.

An engaging and persuasive communicator, you will exhibit a talent for fostering positive and productive working relationships that allow you to achieve complex projects, goals and targets on time and on budget. 

Completion of (or progress towards) a degree with significant relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of training/education and experience is essential.
