Overview

ECU is seeking reliable, enthusiastic, flexible, candidates to deliver outstanding customer service to students sitting exams at our South West Campus.

As an Examination Invigilator, you will be working within a large team to:

  • Verify student identities;
  • Distribute examination materials, collect and validate completed examination papers;
  • Abide by established procedures for monitoring students sitting an examination, to ensure there is no academic misconduct.

ECU conducts two main examination periods for two weeks in June and November:

  • For 2019, these exam periods will be held from 10 – 21 June and the 11 – 22 November.
  • Two examination sessions are scheduled per day from Monday to Friday.

The duration of work will vary between 3 and 5 hours per session with a maximum of 7.5 hours per day, any time between 7:30am and 5:30pm. We are ideally seeking candidates who will be available 4 - 5 days across each week of the examination periods.

This position is required to follow established procedures for monitoring students sitting an examination to ensure there is no academic misconduct, verifying student identities and distributing, collecting and validating completed examination papers.

You will also demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the University’s values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry and Personal Excellence.

Benefits & Remuneration

This casual position attracts remuneration of $31.32 per hour.
