Apply your team leadership experience and extensive marketing expertise to drive international student recruitment growth.

Charles Darwin University (CDU) is ranked 43rd in the top 250 universities under 50 years of age in the world and is identified by Times Higher Education as one of an elite global group of 'rising stars' - a new generation of challenger universities quickly rising in world rankings.

CDU International (CDU-I) provides leadership and strategic advice to support management and executive level decision making in relation to international engagement and works closely with faculty and key university administrative units and external stakeholders. The Office is responsible to the Deputy Vice Chancellor for strategic leadership, development and management of the University's international goals and international activities, including international marketing and promotions, recruitment and admission of international students, international student support, legislative compliance, international partnerships, and relationships with government departments and other agencies.

As the Associate Director, International Marketing and Recruitment, you will lead the strategic development and delivery of an integrated international marketing and student recruitment plan, guiding a multidisciplinary, distributed team of student recruitment and marketing professionals to deliver customer-centric strategies focused on lead generation, conversion and effective marketing communications.

Using new and existing digital marketing channels, you will extend CDU's reach for student recruitment purposes, through content marketing, social media engagement and activation, SEM, SEO, website development projects, mobile optimisation, campaigns and lead generation.

Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant area or an equivalent combination of tertiary education and relevant experience will be essential for your success. A sound business acumen and strong relationship management skills will be highly regarded, as will the ability to write and implement operational plans and the initiative to drive processes and stakeholder engagement.

All applications must include a resume, cover letter and statement addressing the 'Selection Competencies' contained within the Position Profile (link above).
