With the consolidation of the School of Teacher Education and Early Childhood and the School of Linguistics (Adult and Specialist Education), USQ is now seeking a Head of School to lead the newly formed School of Education. As a member of the Faculty Executive Group, reporting to the Executive Dean, the Head of School (Education) will play a key role in successfully integrating the two schools, whilst shaping teaching across programs and embedding innovative and creative approaches to learning.  The Head of School will also work to strengthen the School’s research in line with areas of priority. 

Your demonstrable experience in leading and inspiring teams and driving product growth through contemporary strategic and organizationally aligned approaches will ensure your success in this rewarding role. You will also bring a proven track record in building strong relationships with external and internal stakeholders, including funding agencies and industry partners.  Given the strong focus on online learning, prior knowledge of delivering online programs would be a distinct advantage.
