Griffith Enterprise helps shape arrangements that meet the needs and solve the problems of these stakeholders through the utilisation of Griffith's extensive and multi-disciplinary know-how, research capabilities and intellectual property.
You will be responsible for identifying and developing value-adding opportunities including commercial large-scale research engagements and strategic initiatives that deliver knowledge-based products and services to customers, predominantly from Griffith's Health group, including medicine, allied health, nursing, dentistry, pharmacy and psychology. You will play a key role in advancing commercial awareness and skills across the University and, along with key Griffith staff, engaging with customers to help shape strategic partnerships.
This is a fixed term (three years), full time position predominantly based at the Gold Coast campus.
As this is a pivotal and senior role, you will have 5-10 years of experience and a strong track record of success in identifying, conceptualising and developing commercial opportunities in the field of health-based research and teaching assets.
The skill and ability to bring together research, intellectual property and commercial partners are essential. You will need to be a self-starter and team player. You will be given the autonomy and responsibility to make a significant contribution to Griffith Enterprise and the University.
A competitive remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful applicant for this three year contract.
