One of the top finance schools in Asia-Pacific, the School of Banking and Finance has over 40 finance market specialists as faculty members and offers a diverse range of courses in various fields of finance including banking, corporate finance, investment management, international finance, financial analysis and risk management and insurance. The School’s faculty cultivates an enthusiastic and exciting research and teaching culture and close ties with industry, both in Australia and internationally.
The School of Banking and Finance, which has been consistently ranked amongst the top 20 in the discipline of finance around the world over the last decade, is now seeking to appoint a new Professor. The successful candidate will be a respected scholar in the banking/finance discipline, with a sustained track record of publications in the top three finance journals and other top tier, well-known journals in the field of financial economics. She/he should ideally, have a track record of independent research as well as collaborative research. A demonstrated successful record of competitive research funding. She/he should have ongoing collaboration and engagement with industry. She/he should have a commitment to high-quality education and student experience. She/he will foster excellence in research, teaching, and engagement in the School that enables the University and the Business School’s overarching strategies.
