Named after the second President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, TON DUC THANG UNIVERSITY (TDTU) was established in 1997.

Following a 20-year period of continuous improvement and development, TDTU is currently ranked first among public universities in Vietnam in science and technology and second overall. As a multidisciplinary university with 25,000 students and 1,335 academic and administrative staff, TDTU offers courses ranging from undergraduate degrees and postgraduate taught and research degrees to postdoctoral programmes. TDTU aims to become a research university in the top 60 universities in Asia and top 500 universities in the world by 2037.
