We are looking to grow our team through the appointment of an outstanding academic colleague who will contribute to research informed learning and teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and will undertake research, enterprise and scholarly activities contributing to the Faculty’s objectives.

You will join a team of highly qualified academics with a passion for enhancing the student experience.  You will contribute to research informed and technology enabled learning and teaching of economics and/or finance in a business school context, at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. In addition to teaching, you will undertake research and scholarly activities contributing to the Faculty’s research profile, and will contribute to consultancy, enterprise, and other income generation and business development activities.

With a strong research profile, you must have (or be close to completing) a PhD in a relevant field, ideally coupled with experience and expertise in the application of economic and/or finance theory in industry, business, and policy making. With excellent interpersonal skills, you must be able to demonstrate expert knowledge in the field and be able to teach effectively on a range of academic and professional programmes using a variety of approaches to student learning.  You will possess strong quantitative and/or qualitative analytical skills and ideally be a member of an appropriate professional body.

This position will strengthen our profile with regard to applied micro-econometrics, increasing our capabilities in terms of quantitative research/teaching delivery and therefore we welcome applications from candidate with experience in these areas.
