The Faculty of Law, Masaryk University launches a call for projects of post-doctoral fellows from abroad in the field of intellectual property protection.
The Faculty of Law, Masaryk University, is located in Brno, the second largest city in the Czech Republic, and ranks among top institutions in the field of juridical science and education. It is one of the most prestigious research and educational institutions in the field of law in the Czech Republic and stands high in international university ranking such as https://www.topuniversities.com/university-rankings-articles/qs-best-student-cities/brno. Faculty has a strong interest in being attractive for young researchers from abroad.
The postdoctoral position is awarded for three years. Gross salary is 45,000 CZK per month, which sums to more than 20,500 EUR per year. Additional funds of 5,500 EUR per project are available for travel, material and others expenditures.
Expected start date of the contract is January 1, 2020.
Deadline for application is August 31, 2019.
Applicant must have a Ph.D. degree or its equivalent no longer than 3 years from a university outside of the Czech Republic and Slovak Republic. Ph.D. studies must be accomplished by the date of the employment at the Masaryk University. Students who are expected to complete their Ph.D. in the second half of 2019 therefore are eligible for submission of the applications.
All applicants are expected to be fluent in English, while prior knowledge of Czech is not required. Applicants will be evaluated mainly on the ground of their strong international research record.
