Liverpool John Moores University is seeking an inspirational, innovative and enterprising academic to lead on the delivery of excellence in teaching, research and commercial outputs in the School of Nursing and Allied Health. A positive and creative student experience is critical to the mission of the School.

The School Director is a senior management role within the University and a key position in the Faculty structure.  Reporting to the PVC for Health, the post provides a significant opportunity to lead a creative, dynamic and award winning School influencing the strategic direction of both the School and Faculty.

The School has an excellent reputation for delivering large numbers of sought after health and social care professionals and has been publicly commended for its relationships with students, service users and external partners. The research culture in the School is thriving with significant gains in terms of the forthcoming REF submission. Students and staff benefit from an increasingly diverse international strategy and enterprise. Following a restructure the School is poised to develop its contribution to the local industrial strategy pertaining to health outcomes for the local and regional community.
