£36,545 - £43,789 per annum (Senior Lecturer Salary Band)(Depending on experience and qualifications)

About the Role

  • You will be part of an enthusiastic team who are passionate about the development and delivery of our equine programmes to the highest standards.
  • You will deliver across and support the BA (Hons) International Horse Racing Business and the BSc (Hons) Racehorse Performance and Rehabilitation programmes at undergraduate level.
  • The role will entail lecturing and module leadership, year tutorship, and placement supervision in a variety of equine-related subject areas.  The role could also include Programme Management.
  • You will continue to support and develop placements, visits, trips, guest lectures and international lecture tours.

About You

  • You will have worked in the racing industry for a number of years, ideally both within the UK and internationally.
  • You will be able to utilise your connections from the racing industry to the benefit of the student experience. 
  • You will be good at developing and maintaining professional relationships, organisation and management and be able to coordinate activities both within and external to Hartpury. 
  • You will be required to lecture and module lead, and ideally have teaching experience (training is available).  The ideal candidate will hold a degree and potentially a postgraduate qualification, although candidates with significant industry experience are welcomed.
