We are now looking to appoint to the new role of Pro-Vice-Chancellor International. Reporting to the Vice-Chancellor, this is a Board appointment and the postholder will be a member of the University Group’s Leadership Team. The postholder will have responsibility for articulating and driving the University Group’s global strategy and continued creation and development of our Overseas Corporate Centres and transnational education through our academic partnerships. 

Key to this role is the requirement and ability to connect, develop relationships and work with a range of government, sector and professional bodies within the UK and worldwide, identifying opportunities and ensuring the interests of the University Group are met. 

Candidates will bring significant leadership experience in a large, matrix organisation with complex decision-making and an international focus.  You will blend having an enterprising outlook with high-level political and advocacy experience in an international policy environment either in a university or a related international education body.
