Job Description

The Head and Neck Cancer Laboratory at the National University of Singapore, led by A/Prof Thomas Loh and Dr Joshua Tay, is inviting applications for a postdoctoral research fellow. The successful candidate will be involved in the identification and evaluation of molecular targets in head and neck cancer using specialized genomic techniques, as well as the in-vitro and in-vivo validation of pathway vulnerabilities in cancer. The goal of this research is to translate these findings into therapeutic strategies relevant for patient care. The successful candidate will work closely with the research team, comprising research assistants, clinical coordinators and clinicians

Qualifications

  • PhD in Biosciences related discipline (e.g. molecular biology, cell biology, cancer biology, genetics, etc)
  • Experience in cell culture, in-vitro and xenograft models
  • Experience with genomic techniques and bioinformatics will be an advantage, however, guidance will be provided in these areas
  • Strong writing ability and experience in writing papers
