The National University of Singapore invites applications for the position of Research Assistant in the Department of Computer Science, School of Computing (SoC). We seek to play an active role both internationally and locally in the core and emerging areas of Computer Science and Information Systems.

This position is within a collaborative research project where the Research Assistant shall be responsible for working closely with the Principal Investigator and lab members on the design, implementation and testing of complex quantum systems with neural networks and machine learning models.

Qualifications

The candidate should possess knowledge, skills, and experience in machine learning in general and machine learning applied to computational physics and computational quantum physics. The candidate should be able to independently manage the implementation and testing of machine learning solutions.  The candidate should preferably have experience in international multi-disciplinary (computing and physics) research projects.
