The Role

• Continuing, Full Time
• $100,476 to $119,121 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
• Wagga Wagga

We are currently seeking applications from registered veterinarians or graduates in biological/biomedical science, veterinary nursing or veterinary technology, with relevant clinical experience to undertake teaching and engage in academic research activities.

The successful candidate will focus on delivering teaching excellence in a number of areas including transitioning to university study, best practice in animal handling and techniques, best practice for surgery, theatre practice, emergency, and critical care patients and support for the veterinary professional in diagnostic techniques and imaging.

The position will also be required to undertake research, generate publications and participate in research activities and collaborations where appropriate.

To be successful you will have:

• A degree in Veterinary Science, and current registration with the Veterinary Practitioners Board of NSW, or equivalent with a minimum of 3-5 years clinical experience OR qualification in biological/biomedical science, veterinary nursing or veterinary technology plus relevant postgraduate or equivalent experience and a minimum of five years veterinary clinical experience
• A record of research or professional activity relevant to the discipline area
• Commitment to delivering high-quality student-centred learning and teaching
