About the position

The College of Science, Health & Engineering comprises 9 Schools and 16 Departments across La Trobe’s multi-campus operations. The College offers a range of general and specialist undergraduate and postgraduate courses that are rigorous and attuned to meeting the needs of students in ensuring their readiness to work in changing environments. This is a senior research fellow position where the incumbent will be responsible for helping to progress a research and evaluation program within the Bouverie Centre’s Clinical, Workforce Development, Academic, and Indigenous programs. The Senior Research Fellow will be supervised and mentored by the Professor of Systemic Practice (Family Therapy). The incumbent will extend the Bouverie Centre’s existing research activity, identify new opportunities for research and build collaborative projects with the Centre’s extensive industry and research partners. They will contribute to our Higher Degree Research and Academic Programs. This position supports a promotional path, and will suit a researcher seeking to progress their track in the family mental health field.

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this position, you will have:

  • A PhD in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
  • A record of original, innovative and internationally recognised research, with evidence of its impact and significance.
  • Demonstrated effective leadership and capacity to contribute to building teams.
