The Role

  • Continuing, Full Time
  • Level C - $122,843 to $141,488 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
  • Bathurst

We are currently seeking an outstanding educator who will actively contribute to teaching innovation, research and academic leadership within our newly formed School. Teaching will be delivered to undergraduate and postgraduate students and the position will play a key leadership role in developing research within the discipline.

To be successful in this role you will have proven leadership and stakeholder engagement capabilities, with a demonstrated commitment to upholding the Universitys values, a track record in research and teaching expertise.

Current registration as a paramedic with the Paramedicine Board of Australia is essential for this role.

To be successful you will have:

  • A doctoral qualification relevant to paramedicine
  • Current registration as a paramedic with the Paramedicine Board of Australia
  • Evidence of and a demonstrated commitment to the delivery of high quality student centred learning and teaching
  • Ability to provide effective leadership in an academic setting
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of the discipline gained through industry experience and/or scholarly activities or similar

The courses offered by the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Indigenous Health include undergraduate, postgraduate, and higher degrees by research in nursing, midwifery and Indigenous mental health.
