Full time: 35 hours per week

Campus: Based on a designated Scottish campus the post holder will be required to work across UWS Campuses as required

The School of Health and Life Sciences is a multidisciplinary School, with a diverse range of programmes delivered at our Ayr, Dumfries, Lanarkshire, London and Paisley campuses to a combined total of around 6000 students.  Our graduates make an immense contribution to improving the health and wellbeing of communities across the globe.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic innovative and experienced individual with a PhD (or be nearing completion).  Applicants with experience of adult nursing, academia, supervision of students and team leadership would be welcome.

As a senior lecturer you would be expected to take a lead role in the development of teaching, research and commercial activities in the area of Adult Nursing and Healthcare and contribute to the wider School activities. Experience of learning and teaching in higher education with a desire to develop, innovative methods to enhance the student experience across our programmes is essential. Membership and/or accreditation from an appropriate regulatory/professional organisation is essential.
