Postdoctoral Fellow, Deep Learning and Audio

The successful application is expected undertake the following key responsibilities:

  • Conduct research on building neural networks models for learning audio generation under parametric control and interaction
  • Activates will also include working with a small team of computational modelers, bringing relevant literature to bear
  • Developing new algorithms and implementing deep learning models, and writing
  • Publications for journals and conferences

The advertised position is full-time for twelve month, based in Singapore.

Competencies and Qualifications

We seek applicants with expertise in one or more of the following areas:

  • Computational statistics and machine/deep learning
  • AI platform fluency (Python, Pytorch, Tensorflow)
  • Audio and/or speech signal processing and synthesis
  • Publications in AI, NN, Sound, Speech, or Music journals and conferences
  • For this post-doctoral position, an emerging track record of research publications, ambitious research goals, strong coding skills, and familiarity with computational audio or musical experience would all be relevant
