Job Description

The shortlisted candidate will work with the Manager and Executive of Centre for Applied Research by providing efficient and effective administrative support to the department.

Human Resource Functions (50%)

• Manage the appointment and re-appointment of staff on research schemes
• Manage the timely payment of research staff 
• Assist in any other ad-hoc assignments

Research Audit & Finance Functions (50%)

• Responsible for the efficient and effective submission of grant requests to the Grantors and the timely and accurate recording of grant entries in the financial system - SAP
• Manages grant audits which includes the assignment of grant audits, information collation and document extraction
• Liaise and follow up with various stakeholder to ensure completion of the audits within the stipulated timeline. 
• Assist in any other ad-hoc assignments 

Job Requirements

• Diploma holders and above, preferably with background in Accountancy and/or Human Resources Management
• Experience in handling research funding
• Mature, meticulous and possess a high level of discretion and integrity
• Able to multi-task effectively and possess project management skills
• Knowledge of SAP system will be advantageous
• Good interpersonal skills
• Resourceful team player who is able to work independently and display initiative
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
