Applications are invited for aPermanent or Temporary 4 year post(s) (Commencing on 1 August 2022) of a Lecturer / Assistant Professor in Finance within UCD College of Business University College Dublin invites applications for a number of Permanent or Temporary 4 year fixed-term posts as Lecturer/ Assistant Professor in Finance, in the Banking & Finance Subject Area of the UCD College of Business. UCD College of Business consists of the UCD Lochlann Quinn School of Business (`the Quinn School') focused on undergraduate education, the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate School of Business (`the Smurfit School'), the UCD Centre for Distance Learning (`CDL') and UCD Smurfit Executive Development (`Executive Development').

The Quinn School and CDL are located on the main campus at Belfield while the Smurfit School and Executive Development are located at Blackrock about five kilometres away. Academic staff teach typically teach across all schools. One of the keystones of the College's reputation as one of the world's leading business schools is the quality and expertise of our faculty. Consistently ranked highly amongst the global-leading business schools in the Financial Times' competitive global rankings, the College is the only Irish member of the Global Alliance in Management Education (CEMS) and the Global Network for Advanced Management (GNAM).

The College also holds the triple crown of accreditation from AACSB (US), EQUIS (Europe) and AMBA (UK). The mission of the College is to cultivate an environment of excellence in business education and to foster life-long learning and innovation in the preparation of promising people for positions of increasing responsibility and leadership in Ireland and abroad. The current research interests of faculty members in the Finance area include operational risk, aviation finance, investments, asset pricing, corporate finance, econometrics and risk modelling.

Salary Scale: €55,397- €87,724 per annum

Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines
