The post holder will be responsible to the Mechanics Workshop Manager and will be expected to directly support the Civil /Geotechnical Engineering and Light Mechanics teaching laboratories, as well as a range of research activities across civil, geotechnical and environmental engineering. This will include a particular focus on the design, commissioning and installation of geotechnical, structural and environmental experimental equipment. The post holder will proactively engage with both academic and technical support colleagues to ensure that activities are undertaken to an appropriate standard.
