UniSA Business is committed to growing the industry experience opportunities for all UniSA Business students at postgraduate and undergraduate levels. Multiple casual opportunities are available to provide mentorship for students undertaking placement.

Core Responsibilities

  • Provide academic support, mentoring and advice to students on placement.
  • Escalate any significant issues relating to student well-being to the relevant Course Coordinator and/or Program Director, where necessary.
  • Periodically meet with students and host supervisor.
  • Respond to and action emails from both students and the host supervisor with respect to the student’s placement.
  • Undertake marking of student assignments (60% of assessment).
  • Coordinate the completion of host supervisor evaluation reports.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • A Masters and / or PhD in a relevant discipline together with professional / industry work experience
  • Ability to actively engage and educate a diverse student group
  • Excellent written and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work outside of normal working hours and on weekends
  • A current drivers’ licence
