Lecturer & Senior Lecturer in Physical Education and Youth Development (2 posts)

Job description

We are seeking to recruit two dynamic and experienced lecturers (1 x L and 1 x SL) of Physical Education and Youth Development to join an ambitious team with industry relevant programmes and contemporary approaches to teaching and learning in H.E.

 For a suitably experienced SL candidate, we may also offer the Subject Lead role for the Sport Pedagogy subject group. This role oversees the portfolio and line manages staff who teach on the following programmes: BA Physical Education, Sport and Youth Development, BA Sport for Social Change (new), FdSc Physical Education and Sports Coaching (new) and BSc Sports Coaching Science. 

It is anticipated that the successful applicants will be able to draw upon extensive experience in PE teaching to enrich teaching, curriculum design and knowledge exchange. In the case of the Subject Lead, the successful candidate should also have course leadership and ideally line management experience.
