Board Members sought for Metanoia Institute
Metanoia Institute is an ambitious and expanding organisation currently going through the OfS New Degree Awarding Powers (NDAPs) process to potentially gain future university status. The Institute is governed by a Board of Trustees who are accountable for agreeing the strategic direction of the Institute, for ensuring statutory compliance in respect of data protection, equality and diversity, health and safety, human resources and financial probity. The Board delegates full responsibility for the day-to-day management to the Chief Executive Officer.
The Board undertake a regular audit of the skills and competence within the Board and when needed identifies additional skills and competences that will be valuable to the Board. At this moment in time, the Board wishes to appoint two new trustees: one with considerable finance audit and risk experience at a senior level within the Higher Educational and/or Public Sectors; the other with extensive experience of psychotherapy. Upon appointment, both trustees’ presence on the Board will complement the skills of its other members.
